Burn The Water

The Great Central Railway is a heritage railway. It’s prime use is as a tourist and steam train enthusiast attraction. Sometimes it is used as a location for film and TV productions.

It is maintained with love. The route is not long being only between Loughborough and Leicester North.

It runs seven days a week and its stations and trains take one back in time whilst still being in the present.

Here are the steps down on to the station platform at the line’s Quorn and Woodhouse railway station. Wooden they make a good sound as you descend or ascend them.
