Hatfield Macro [P.2] / Summer 2019

Hatfield’s pretty boring (ask anyone), but we often ignore just how much beautiful nature surrounds us in our busy little town.

Trying out my macro lens (a gift from my nana – thanks nana), I got a few lovely shots of some ants and other critters minding their own business.

  • Ants crawling up a red leaf surrounded by little green bugs
  • Ants crawling up a red leaf as the diffused sky behind it faded in the sunset
  • A blurred fly gripping the side of an unripened, green blackberry
  • A ripe blackberry in-focus in front of a mixture of green and red blackberries yet to ripen
  • A light cobweb cast across a dark, natural background
  • A tiny spider hiding under a very bright green-yellow bunch of leaves
  • An ant hanging upside-down underneath a red-green leaf
